We Will Rot

In this project, I wanted to confront the way that death is viewed by society, and challenge the way in which humans feel like they rule the world and are in some way superior than other living beings when in actuality, we all rot and decompose into nothing after death.

I want to explore how the use of traditional art practices such as fineliner illustration, painting and collage can evoke visceral feelings through the use of imagery, colour and texture.

Currently, I am in the research/experimentation stages of my project, but as I continue, I will add more to this page.
